"Olvy is a great changelog and release software that plugs directly into the product building process. Our team is now able focus more on the productive stuff while Olvy takes care of keeping our customers in the loop."

With Olvy, Personizely established a consistent, in-product changelog that helps customers discover new features, stay informed about product updates, and see steady progress in the platform’s evolution.

Personizely is a B2B SaaS conversion rate optimization (CRO) platform built for ecommerce brands. As the product matured and the feature set expanded, the team recognized the need for a more structured and visible way to communicate product updates - both internally and externally.

Moving from ad-hoc updates to consistent communication

Before using Olvy, Personizely relied primarily on email updates and one-on-one conversations to inform customers about new features and improvements. While this approach worked at a smaller scale, it lacked consistency and made it harder for customers to clearly see how the product was evolving over time.

The team wanted a single, reliable system for sharing updates - one that would make product progress visible, improve feature discovery, and help customers better understand what’s new and worth trying.

Using changelogs to drive visibility and feature discovery

Personizely adopted Olvy’s Changelog to bring structure and consistency to their release communication. Today, new feature releases are published through Olvy and surfaced directly inside the product via an in-app widget that notifies users when updates are available. (Their standalone changelog page lives here)

In addition to the in-product widget, Personizely maintains a dedicated releases page hosted on a subdomain, giving customers a central place to review past updates. The team also uses Olvy alongside Crisp chat to record feature requests with proper context, ensuring product conversations and release updates stay connected.

This setup helps customers easily discover new capabilities while reinforcing the sense that the product is actively maintained and continuously improving.

Greater accountability and internal alignment

Since implementing Olvy’s Changelog, Personizely has seen improved visibility for new features and updates. Customers are more aware of what’s being released, and the changelog acts as a clear signal of ongoing product development.

Internally, the changelog has also created better alignment and accountability. The team has a shared understanding of what has shipped, and publishing updates has become a natural part of the product development process.
